School Fees

Additional Fees

Food: Year 8 are required to pay an additional compulsory fee of 3,000 baht per semester for daily school lunches, which are provided in the school canteen. All other years are required to either bring their own snacks/lunch or buy whatever they wish from the school mini mart or canteen. The prices of all food sold in the school are incredibly good value for money since they are subsidised.

Parent Teacher Association: an additional small fee of 100 baht per semester is payable to fund the Parent Teacher Association.

Uniforms: students will be required to buy enough sets of school and PE uniforms for the year. These can be purchased from several shops in Phuket.

iPads: IPC has fully embraced digital technology in order to both help the environment and also make the purchase cost of books substantially more affordable for parents and students. It is mandatory for all students attending IPC to purchase a suitable iPad device, Apple pencil and the Notability app.

Cambridge Examination Fees: depending on which year a student is in, they may be required to sit external Cambridge examinations at the end of that academic year. These are a mandatory requirement for our school. As we are a registered Cambridge International Examinations Centre, we charge our students at cost price. Each examination cost varies, and the specific fees are notified to parents and students in advance of the actual examinations taking place.

Activities and Field Trips: the vast majority of the activities and trips are fully paid for by the school. However, there are some instances when nominal additional fees are required to further enhance the student’s experience. Any additional costs will be communicated in advance of each activity or field trip.

The fees that you see above include the tuition fees for the whole year. The yearly school fee is divided into two payments, and each is payable for each of the two semesters in the school year. Unlike all other international schools, we do not charge an additional endowment or deposit fee. Our school fees are the lowest of any international school in Phuket, because every one of our students are directly subsidised by the Thai government, regardless of the student’s nationality. We are the only international school in Phuket that has this huge advantage. School fees for the first semester are payable at the time of enrollment for new students. School fees for the semester, for existing students, are payable within 30 days of the semester start date. If school fees are not paid within 30 days of the semester start date, then the school reserves the right to not allow your child to attend further lessons. All school fees are charged on a semester basis, regardless of whether you join or leave part way through a semester.
